KLOW blend is a multi-peptide formulation supplied in a pre-filled pen device. If you are trying to understand what is in it, how pure it should be, or what a KLOW COA should show, this article covers all of that directly.
What Is KLOW Blend Peptide
KLOW blend is a combination peptide product. The exact composition varies by supplier and by version — KLOW 80 is one common variant, discussed below — but the core blend most commonly contains CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, and sometimes a third peptide such as Tesamorelin or GHRP-6.
The blend typically includes:
- CJC-1295 — a modified peptide compound with a longer active window than its natural analogue
- Ipamorelin — a peptide compound often noted for a relatively clean profile compared to older compounds in the same class
- GHRP-6 — a peptide compound sometimes included in place of or alongside Ipamorelin
What Is KLOW 80
KLOW 80 refers to a specific variant of the KLOW blend where the number indicates the total peptide content per cartridge — typically 80 mg across all components combined. Some suppliers also produce KLOW 40 and KLOW 120 variants on the same principle.
The split between individual peptides within a KLOW 80 cartridge is not standardised across the industry. A COA — certificate of analysis, the document that reports what is actually in the product — should break this down per component. If you only see a total peptide figure with no breakdown, you cannot verify whether the ratio between compounds matches the label.
The KLOW Peptide Pen
The KLOW pen is a pre-filled, multi-dose pen device. The cartridge sits inside the pen body, and a dial or click mechanism lets you select volume in consistent increments.
A few practical points on the pen format:
- Once the cartridge is installed or the pen is activated, the peptide solution is exposed to handling conditions. Most manufacturers recommend refrigeration between 2°C and 8°C and state a use-by window of four to six weeks once opened.
- The pen format means the solution is already in liquid form at manufacture. Temperature excursions during shipping matter more for pre-filled liquid products than for dry powder, because degradation in solution is faster than in powder form.
- Needles are usually sold separately. Confirm the pen uses a standard pen needle thread before ordering consumables.
KLOW Peptide COA and Purity
A KLOW peptide COA should report purity for each individual peptide in the blend, not just a single combined figure. Reputable third-party testing uses HPLC — high-performance liquid chromatography, a method that separates compounds and measures how much of each is present. The result is expressed as a percentage.
For research peptides, 98% or above is a widely used benchmark for individual component purity. A result below 95% for any single peptide in a blend warrants attention, because impurities accumulate across multiple components. If two separate peptides both return lower purity figures, the product is off-spec on two counts at once.
A complete KLOW 80 COA should include:
- Purity percentage for each component separately
- The testing method (HPLC or HPLC-MS)
- The name of the third-party laboratory that ran the test
- A batch or lot number that matches the product packaging
- Molecular weight confirmation, which verifies the compound is what it claims to be and not a structurally similar substitute
Mass spectrometry (MS) alongside HPLC adds a second layer of identity confirmation. It measures the actual molecular weight of the compound and compares it against the known weight of the target peptide. Purity tells you how much of the compound is present; MS tells you whether the compound is correct in the first place.
Practical Summary
KLOW blend is a multi-peptide combination, most commonly CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin, supplied in a convenient pen device. KLOW 80 refers to the total peptide load per cartridge. When reviewing a KLOW COA, look for per-component purity figures of 98% or above, HPLC or HPLC-MS testing, and a named third-party laboratory. A COA that only gives a single combined purity number does not tell you enough about what is actually in the pen.
